About Jackie

Jacqueline France studied painting and sculpture at Rhode Island School of Design,

and graphic and communication design at Parsons School of Design, where she earned

her BFA.  She also studied at The New School where she was granted a Masters in film.

Jackie started her career as an ABC page, where she worked on game shows such as

“Let’s Make A deal”, was on the design team for the “Wheel of Fortune” and worked on

Kung Fu movies including “Enter The Dragon” with Bruce Lee. She animated for Hanna Barbera,

primarily working on Scoobie Doo, and also worked for Marvel comics with Stan Lee. 

Jackie worked for ad agencies and graphic design studios where she won multiple Addy awards, has

been published in “Prominent Women in Advertising", and “Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.” 

Jackie created marketing materials for Fasig-Tipton and The Kentucky Horse Park, and also designed and illustrated sportswear for the NFL, NBA, NASL, and 50 college teams across the country. 

Jackie has worked in the corporate world for companies including Bell South, Verizon, Yellow Book, The Palm Beach Post, and The Washington Examiner. 

Jackie taught graphic design at The University of Kentucky, as well as art and ceramics to children ages 5-16 in the Berkshires where she spent the summers with her children, Ali, Preston, and Cinnamon (her daughter in dog form). 

Jackie started her own marketing and design company - Marketing Elements - servicing clients such as Eckerd Drugs, National Geographic, Ramada Inn, Pioneer Savings Bank, World Magazine, World Cup Soccer, Sports Authority, Home Shopping Network, Peoples Express Airlines, Union Carbide, and The Florida National Guard. 

Jackie’s companies - Marketing Elements, Art By Me, and The Community Owl - offer creative solutions in graphic design, branding, direct mail, fine art, digital art, photo collage, pet portraits, people portraits, and commissioned art projects. The latter publication, The Community Owl, helps local business market services through direct mail and online advertising. 

 

Jackie has been practicing and teaching meditation since she studied with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the French Alps. She is also a hula hoop champion, and dares anyone to compete.  

Jackie has been a Chamber of Commerce member, Board of Director for the Prince William Art Society, member of BNI and an Art Gallery Associate at the Lorton Workhouse. 

She lives currently on the Occoquan in her home in Lake Ridge, VA.
